What Wheel Lug Pattern Does GMC Use?

Don’t know what lug pattern your GMC model uses? Use our bolt pattern guide to find a perfect fit.

Proper wheel fitment is responsible for your safety and control of the vehicle. And one of the most important things you need to nail is the lug pattern. The most popular GMC models have 5, 6 and 8-lug wheels to compliment their size and tenacity.

GMC Sierra 150 shows uncharacteristic consistency in lug patterns throughout the years. It’s a standard by now that GMC Sierra 1500 has 6x5.5" pattern, unlike GMC Sierra 2500, which alternates between 8x6.5" and 8x7.09" lug patterns.

Models Terrain and Canyon are the most troublesome because they often changed wheel sizes, stud specs and also bolt patterns. The GMC Terrain used 5x4.72" pattern but switched to 5x4.53" after 2021. And GMC Canyon mostly has 6x5.5" lug pattern wheels, with the exception of earlier models before 2015 that use 6x5.5" pattern.
