What Wheel Lug Pattern Does Kia Use?

Kia uses 5-lug patterns for the wheels, but PCD can vary across models and years.

Kia appears to have a strong preference for the 5x4.5" lug pattern in its vehicle lineup, with few exceptions. Including Kia Forte, Soul, Optima, Sorento (from 2011-2022), Sportage (from 2005-2022), Telluride, Niro, Stinger, and Sedona (both in its 2002-2005 and 2015-2022 variants). This consistent usage of the 5x4.5" pattern underscores a clear standardization trend in most of Kia's model range.

Certain models stand out with different wheel specifications. The initial versions of the Kia Sportage (from 1999-2002) and the Sorento (from 2003-2009) adopted a 5x5.5" lug pattern.

The Kia Sedona, between 2006 and 2014, featured a unique 6x5.5" pattern. Consistently, the Kia Rio has sported a 4x3.94" pattern across its iterations, reflecting its identity as a compact vehicle.

Some models have seen a transition in their lug patterns over the years. Sorento switched from a 5x5.5" pattern (2003-2009) to a 5-lug pattern with PCD 4.5".

And Kia Sedona saw a unique switch from 5x4.5" to 6x5.5" and then back to 5x4.5".
